Why a “Story CD”?

Being the “tale end” of the family with twenty-three years between the “oldest” and “youngest” has at time left gaps in my memory of our family history. Every time my siblings and their children were together it was a delight to me to hear the funny stories of their “early life”.

For example: We always asked Mama to tell the “I see ya” story. When my three oldest brother and sisters were very young, Mama was walking with them to meet Daddy as he was getting off from work. From a distance they saw someone coming and “being cute”, Mama started calling out to the person she thought was Daddy saying “I see ya! I see ya!” It wasn't until they got almost up on each other until she realized it was NOT Daddy!!!

I have often thought it would be such a treasure to me to have a CD/DVD of Mama telling “the stories”. That's when it occurred to me -- I have so many wonderful stories myself! I have stories about time in the family, college days, time on the mission field, miracles of the Lord in my life and of course, “The Old, Old Story” and Oh! how I DO love to tell THE Story!!! Therefore…. the “Story CD”!

The first story CD features four stories on prayer – things that happened while “on the journey”. I pray they encourage you and build your faith in God's Word and His faithfulness.
